Evan and his new trick

The other day when Anetha was gone, Evan got hungry, so I decided that I would feed him a bottle. So I lay him on the floor, and gave him the bottle. While I was holding it he brought his hands up, and low and behold there he was holding his own bottle!!! So here you go, some pics of Evan holding his bottle.

New Photos of Evan

Okay here are some pictures from the last month or so. The first two pictures are random shots. The first one is of Evan and his friend Silas. They are two weeks apart. The second is just Evan, Anetha and Me chilling on the couch.

The rest of these pictures are from Evan's dedication which took place at our house on September 2nd. Our friend Josh(silas' dad) dedicated Evan for us. So the pictures are from that afternoon. We had friends and family gather in our backyard to help us celebrate. Then once we were done dedicating Evan, Josh took him around and had everyone kiss him which showed their acceptance and support of the dedication. Thanks to everyone who showed up and supported us!! Thanks for the prayers from those who couldn't be there!!!!

Bella Coola & Burke Channel

I can't get away from the amazing scenery from the area in and around Bella Coola and in the Burke Channel. Not only the scenery but the wildlife and marine life too!!
And as you can see from this picture the wind only blows from the west in Bella Coola!! All the trees there look like this! No branches on the tree facing west!!

Summer Vacation

Okay so it's been a long time since I put a blog, I'll try and be a little better at this now that I'm going to school. So this is a little blog about our summer vacation. It was probably one of the busiest trips I've ever been on. We started out travelling to Calgary to visit Anetha's sister and brother in-law, hillary and chris, and her brother, Alex. Unfortunatley, we forgot to take pictures of any of them while we were there?!?!?! The only pictures we got were from our visit to the zoo.
So those are a few of the pics from the zoo, as you can see I didn't take very many pictures. Then, while we were in Calgary we went and visited my friends Mark and Avey, and again we didn't take any pictures!!!! We are really bad at taking pictures!!! I'm sorry!!! We had a really good time at Mark and Avey's!! We were fed an awesome meal, that was beef steak not pork!!! (mark) Thank you Mark for the sheep skin!!! Evan loves his sheepskin!!! He's laying on it or playing on it a couple times a day!!!

And while we were in Calgary, we also celebrated our first anniversary!!! Which consisted of dinner at anetha's uncle's house and a bouquet of roses from evan and me!!!

The next stop on our trip was Wetaskwin to visit my family!! We spent some time with my aunt's and uncle's and my grandparents!! We had a good time and Anetha got to experience some time on the farm!!

The Alberta side of Evan's family!!!
Evan and his Great Grandpa and Grandma Cameron!!!!

Then the next step was to Prince George, were Anetha and Evan stayed for a week, while I went to Bella Coola for a fishing trip!!! The trip was pretty good, except for the first two days of rain!! On the trip out from bella coola to were we fish, we ran into a pod of dolphins(I don't know if that's what a group of dolphins is called).

Then we started fishing and I happened to be the first one to catch a fish and it happened to be a pretty nice sized coho salmon.

My Dad's 25-30 lbs chinook!!!

My cousin bobby and his disgust in the lingcod that he caught!!

The humpback whales were putting on a performance in the bay that we were docked in to sleep. Unfortunatley I only got one decent picture!! It was amazing to watch!!! There was five or six of them in the bay and it was absolutley amazing!!!!!
If you ever get the chance to go up the BC west coast, do it because the marine life and wildlife there is amazing!!!!
